ABOUT THE ARTIST Although I’ve been creative for as long as I can remember, I have not always been artistic. The hidden artist in me didn’t seem to emerge until after watching a demonstration by The Oregon Watercolor Society. After that I was hooked. I love seeing what transpires when new paint and fresh white paper come together. I find the process of watercolor very personal and energizing; creating both the expected and yet at the same time, a wonderful surprise. Watercolor permits me to discover the extraordinary in the ordinary.
